Again I need to write this post in English as Kathy do not reads mandarin too.
I know my dear friend, Kathy still got plenty of nasi pulut with her now.
Wonder what she is going to do with her nasi pulut?
May be I can suggest this "Loh Mei Gei" for her too.
Hope she likes this.
First need to soak 300g (for 4 persons) of glutinous rice into water for at least 3 hours.
Then drain dry and pour over hot water until cover the surface of rice.
Steam under big fire for 20 minutes.
Then seasoning the steamed rice with oyster sauce,light soy sauce,dark soy sauce
pepper and 4tbsp of shallot oil.
Mix well and set aside for use.
Prepare 4 rice bowls and put some shallot oil into the bowls.
Rub the whole inside bowls with the oil.
The filling ingredients were prepared by me last night and kept in the fridge before use.
Those filling ingredients were :-
1pcs of chicken drumsticks (boneless) cut into 4pcs.
2pcs of mushrooms cut into half (as you like).
Chinese sausage (sliced)
some dried shrimps
salt,light soy sauce,sugar,pepper and chicken powder.
Heat oil and stir fry filling ingredients till fragrant.
Then put in seasoning.
Arrange the filling in rice bowls and fill in glutinous rice.
Now it is ready for steam.
Steam for 20 minutes.
It is now ready to be serve.
