芽菇或土豆蒸腊肠 (Ah Gu or Patotoes Steamed with Chinese Sausage)

将要接近华人农历新年,市场或巴刹就会见到许多芽菇(Ah Gu)。
通常我们便买来切片,炸来当薯片吃。



最近在巴刹里也有遇到一档有摆卖这些芽菇。
所以我买了些回家做菜吃。
我习惯将它和腊肠配在一块,
然后蒸来配饭吃。

你们吃芽菇是如此吃法的吗?


有时找不到芽菇,
便用土豆(Potato)来做代替品咯。



也是照样将土豆给切片,摆满在碟子里。

 
然后腊肠切片,铺在土豆上,
洒些许水便可以大火蒸20-30分钟即可。
如果你要香一点,可以蒸好后淋少许的绍兴酒。

这也是我的家常菜了。

哦, 沒有看過這樣來吃芽菇, 好特別.. 只知道過年的時候把芽菇當炸薯片來吃, 呵呵~~ :D

Emm...I think i should also try Pete's method to steam Ngahku with Lap Ngap too...can imagine how it would be taste too...yum yum!

eh if got Lap Ngap Bei(wax duck leg) would have been better

CNY is coming soon,so a lot of Lap Ngap Bei then.Can make Lap Ngap Rice too.

Seeing the arrowheads (ngahku)give me the indication CNY is just around the corner in merely two months time. Will be buying some to grow at home soon which I did every CNY. The Chinese lap cheong looks yummy.
